Trenchless Pipe Lining β€”
New Pipe, No Dig

CIPP lining is one of the most significant advances in sewer repair technology. Here's exactly how the process works.

01
Camera Inspection
We run our HD camera through the line to confirm the pipe is a candidate for lining β€” structurally present, accessible at both ends, and not fully collapsed.
02
Hydrojetting the Line
The pipe is thoroughly hydro-jetted to remove all debris, roots, and buildup. The pipe wall must be clean for the liner to bond properly.
03
Liner Preparation
A felt liner tube is saturated with a two-part epoxy resin. This is the material that becomes your new pipe.
04
Liner Insertion
The saturated liner is inserted into the pipe and inflated with air or water pressure, pressing it firmly against the inside of the existing pipe.
05
Curing
The epoxy resin cures in place β€” hardening into a smooth, seamless pipe within the original pipe. Cure time varies by method and product.
06
Final Camera Check
We run the camera again to verify the liner is smooth, fully bonded, and properly formed. The new pipe is ready for service.
Trenchless vs traditional sewer repair comparison

When Trenchless Is the
Right Choice

Trenchless CIPP is ideal when the pipe has cracks, root intrusion, and minor corrosion but is still structurally present. It's especially valuable when the pipe runs under a driveway, patio, pool deck, or landscaping that would be costly to excavate and restore.

Traditional excavation is better when the pipe is fully collapsed, severely bellied (sagging), offset more than the liner can bridge, or when access for the liner is not possible.

We camera inspect every sewer line before recommending a repair method. Some sections may be lined while others require excavation β€” we'll give you the honest assessment and the most cost-effective solution.

Trenchless / CIPP FAQ

Quality CIPP liners are rated for 50+ years when properly installed. The epoxy resin creates a smooth, corrosion-resistant interior that's actually more resistant to root intrusion than the original pipe.
It depends on the situation. Trenchless lining is often comparable in direct cost to excavation β€” but when you factor in the cost to restore a driveway, patio, pool deck, or landscaping after traditional excavation, trenchless is frequently the more economical total solution.
CIPP lining works on clay, cast iron, PVC, concrete, and Orangeburg pipe β€” the most common sewer pipe materials found in LA homes. The pipe must be structurally present (not fully collapsed) and accessible.
A camera inspection is the only way to determine candidacy. We look at the diameter, material, condition, slope, access points, and type of damage. We'll tell you honestly whether lining is the right solution or whether excavation is necessary.
Slightly β€” typically by about ΒΌ inch on each side (Β½ inch total diameter reduction). In practice, this has no meaningful effect on flow capacity. The smooth interior of the liner actually improves flow compared to rough, corroded original pipe.
